Do you take walk ins or is an appointment required?

It is preferred that you schedule an appointment for your convenience however, if you need an immediate appointment due to pain, it is highly recommended that you call the practice to determine the best time to be worked into the schedule.

Am I required to give you my social security number?

We fully understand the concern of releasing confidential information. We take every precaution to protect confidential patient information and want to ensure you we do not release any information to any parties for any other purpose than to satisfy insurances. As long as your insurance company provides you with a specific identification number, we would not require you to release your social security number however, if this is the only identification we are able to use for insurance claims, it is required in order to file your claims.

Can you see my entire family on the same day?

We prefer to schedule two family members per day just incase an unexpected emergency arises and you are unable to keep the appointments for any reason.

Do you allow anyone other than the patient in the room during an appointment?

We do allow others to accompany the patient when communicating the expectations of treatment and give you the opportunity to ask questions. We are unable to allow anyone other than the patient in the treatment room during an actual procedure to ensure your safety as well as provide confidentiality to the patient.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Many of our locations offer extended hours as well as Saturday appointments for your convenience. Please see the hours listed for each location as they do vary.

Why did you change your name?

As we continue to expand across Texas, we wanted to unify the name for all of our locations to avoid confusion. We are still the same staff offering you the same exceptional customer service.

What age do you start seeing children?

All locations begin seeing children at the age of four. We also have children's dentists available to see little ones under the age of four at our Carus Kids locations.

How many doctors do you have in your office and what can you tell me about them?

Each location is specific in numbers of doctors depending on the size of the practice. Please visit the desired location which will give you a list of doctors to choose from in that practice as well as a biography of each.

Why can't I get an appointment immediately?

Should you be in pain, we will see you immediately. Please call the office and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. For routine care, we do our very best to accommodate each person. The most popular appointments are the first and last appointments of the day. This does cause great demand for these times. We do offer a short call list which is a list of patients that have specific times they need. We are able to contact you when we have a unexpected change in the schedule. In most cases, this could be only a thirty minute to one hour notice.

Can I see a different doctor in the same office?

We do prefer each patient to remain with their initial doctor however, if for any reason you have concerns, we ask that you speak to the practice manager to determine the best option.
