Dental Services:Dentures & Partials
Carus Dental offers a comprehensive selection of services related to dentures and partials. We can fabricate complete dentures including immediate dentures that can be placed at the time of extraction or conventional dentures to replace teeth that are already missing. We also make removable partial dentures when there are some natural teeth remaining, including the new Valplast partials (bendable partials).
Other services include relines (hard and soft), repair of cracks, replacing lost denture teeth, and adding teeth to existing partials. Most of these services can be completed in one day. Select locations are also able to make implant-supported partials or dentures (please check on the availability of this service at a specific location).
Expert Advice
Denture patients should not wear their complete denture or partial denture constantly. It's recommended to take out your denture or partial at night before you go to sleep and place it in a cleaning solution. Wearing a partial continuously can lead to decay in areas where the partial rests against the remaining natural teeth. Wearing a complete denture continuously may lead to development of a fungal infection under the denture. Also, continuous wearing may accelerate bone loss under the denture or partial leading to a loose-fitting denture or partial.
